Woodlands

Woodlands depicts a hidden world, the magic found underneath the hedgerows of the beautiful British countryside. This stunning stitched scene includes a realistically worked rabbit, common frog, wood mouse, red squirrel, blackbird, mother & baby hedgehogs & hare. The foliage featured are ink cap mushrooms, dock leaves, blackberries, foxgloves, rowan berries, acorns, grasses & red flyagaric mushrooms.
This is one of Jenny’s larger projects, but it has been specifically designed to be easy and enjoyable to stich for intermediate embroidererers. Even though it looks complex, basic stitches are used, and Jenny has designed this piece to be readily achievable, even for stitchers who don’t draw.
